Why Pick Up and Put Down?
Pick Up and Put Down Origin
After my family experienced the transition of our loved one, I found myself feeling lethargic. We all loved my uncle, so it made sense that I would be feeling his loss. It hurts. But no matter what, I knew that he would want me to be happy about his home-going. So, It got me thinking about how I can find more joy in my moments right now.
In walked the idea to do a detox. Doing a detox can sound scary though. However, if you read about the detox process, you know how important they are. There is a time for everything, and now is a great time to detox.
Where to Start
Helpful Tips:
- Grab a detox journal.
- Choose the easiest habits and triggers first (Use your detox menu!)
- Find an accountability partner and share your plan with them.
- Write down which 3 things you will start with. Again, I want to stress: choose the easy ones first. Focus in on what is already good to begin in gratitude and with ease.
- Mark your calendar for June 21st (5-6pm) day 1! for our first online class.
- Log on to Teachable everyday to interact with your course and stay inspired.
- Revisit your plan and your why often to remind yourself why you are here for 12 days now.
- Check your email each day for helpful detox tips and treats from me.
